No, all Audi parts! It's getting done at Audi of Clearwater Florida. They have a wonderful rep and again they gave me another Audi for a free rental. I knew the other dealerships would be more expensive because they are on longboat key so these people living there wipe there butts with 100 bills. Price is different depending on who owns it. They gave me a discount on labor but they showed me when that to help me out they gave me the parts at cost. Example when I called to get part prices the new water pump was priced over 300! They gave me a new not reman for 193 they did this on all parts.

[QUOTE=MP4.2+6.0;24782633]Depending on where you are and how you want to play sales tax, there are several dealers who sell on line. Those with bigger sites include audiusaparts.com (Sunset Audi in Portland OR), genuineaudiparts.com (the San Diego dealer) and jimellisaudiparts.com (the Atlanta dealer). All now typically sell for about 20% off list, though it varies some by part. Jim Ellis used to be more list, but I guess got in the game better. Actually pre web, I used to buy by phone from Clair Audi, now Prime Audi, in Boston. A guy named "Mack"; actually post giving up on Blau. I use Sunset/audiusaparts since they have been friendly, always at std. discount, have a lot of even D3 stuff in stock, and ship to me in same two days as even the SoCal one.
Sunset Audi in Portland does all my work, they are a good shop and yes no sales tax.

Mine was done at the dealer @80k miles in 1/2010 per carfax.I own the car since 2015.
Now 47k mls on the clock and 6 years later i wonder should i strictly follow 8 years timing belt replacement interval.
Some say it about the miles and heat cycles only, some say its not.
No bearing noises,no symptoms.I drive this car once a week for 20 mls.

The choice of course is yours to make. Just keep in mind that when a problem happens it often happens suddenly with no warning and you are left with a lot of bent valves.

Yes i am aware of that.
I have read many posts with low mileage but overdue in time and still running.(not all audi).
But also iv read many posts that say belt broke around 110k miles.(mostly tensioner or pulley causes to fail).

The timing belt service interval recommended by Audi is 75k miles. In Europe they also add an 8 year age maximum.
Roll the dice on if you want to follow that recommendation or not.
