Default twin turbo D3 W12 ?

I love my D3 2006 W12, car is such a blast but I want more power. I have started researching the feasibility of integrating the Bentley turbo system into my car and then finding someone to custom tune it. Anybody seen this before or has anyone else considered it?

It may be cheaper and definitely better to buy Bentley.

Agreed, not worth the trouble. If it could be done, it would be massively expensive and would actually make your car worth less as a result. A D4 with the 4.0t would also be an acceptable alternative purchase, those will annihilate a D3 W12 and early W12TT Bentley's in a drag race.

Agree with all the post. It would make more sense to adapt the D4 transmission because that is where the increase in acceleration comes from. It would also less headache to buy a D4 S8 instead.

I was just talking about the non-S 4.0t blowing the doors off of the rest, you can spend under 40k for one in good shape if you look. An absolute bargain.

Hypothetically speaking:
1) Nitrous
2) If anyone in the US can help, his name starts with "Giovanni" and ends with "Giovanno". JJ is on here. He's rebuilding a newish Bentley from a shell (flood car?). Massive undertaking.
3) One of those remotely plumbed turbos. added to your 12. I see why you'd want the Bentley "package" but adding an aftermarket turbo would be more feasible and it here's any room for it, under the car is the place. They even routinely mount them beneath the very rear of truck beds, a place where there's plenty of space on our cars.
4) You could look into changing the gearing and/or tire circumference (smaller tire outside diameter (OD) = lower gearing = lower top speed but more power off the line, effectively). The early 6HP transmission in the Phaeton is geared lower IIRC but has only 5 gears, and probably bolts up.
6) You're nuts. But welcome, you'll fit right in.
