nice write up, i may go on this route as well, it would be nice to have a graphical diagram of a car showing which sensor is working and which is not.

I am just about to embark on this journey as well, how did your retrofit go?

I have a 2005 Audi A8L and I guess I'll be needing this part #4E0910283C as you suggested. If I am to buy the part used, would I have to reprogram it or anything?

I upgraded my '04 with a newer module to get the graphical parking display. I've also installed 4610 software and contrary to what everyone says I still have the option in the MMI to disable the TPMS (and have it disabled right now due to running the spare, cracked wheel, which has no sensor)
