Anyways, I had my seat belt chime removed long time ago and I just checked that lights on warning still works as it should. So nothing else than the seat belt chime was removed I think.

If it's set to UK, yes the door open indicator is backwards. This mod also improves your gas mileage! ....The computer uses imperial gallons.

ROW works great for Canada, where metrics distance, volume, and temperatures scales are used anyways.

Though I'm all for adopting the metric system, it's not so great for USA unless you love doing conversions in your head. On second though, maybe I should become familiar with metric/domestic equivalents for future European travels.

Door chime is high on both of our lists.

I set mine to ROW and it disabled the chime but I wasn't digging the metrics so I set it back. Weird, because when I did this on my S6, it didn't convert to metric. Any other ideas for the NA seat belt chime kill?

Seat belt chime is easy:

Module 17 - Instrument cluster
xxxxx?x: Seatbelt Warning (3-6 = MY 2005+ only)
0 = No Seatbelt Warning
1 = Seatbelt Warning (EU-NCAP)
2 = Seatbelt Warning (NAR Old)
3 = Seatbelt Warning (NAR New)
4 = Seatbelt Warning (EU-NCAP incl. Passenger)
5 = Seatbelt warning (NAR Old incl. Passenger)
6 = Seatbelt Warning (NAR New incl. Passenger)

That damn door open chime drives me batty though.

My neighbors probably think the car's name is "shut up SHUT UP I know the door's open"

I think you can set in on ROW and than change it back Imperial in MMI Settings. I am using Metric so I am not sure, but it is easy to try.
