Default Vanity Plate Opinions Pls

I just bought a sage green A8L.

Torn between the following for the plates:

ATOMIC (I already have this on my Passat, could move to the new car)

A8SURD

A8TOMIC

8TOMIC

A8L

A8SURD because absurd is one of my favorite words and some consider me to be absurd - sneaking in the A8surd is kind of cool...
Atomic because my name is Tom, the cars are both sort of a nuclear green (cyan really), and fast. Both cars are made of 100% atoms. Also, I consider myself quite small in the grand scheme of things.
Thanks for looking/voting/suggesting.

Default Thanks for voting, O

120 views and 9 votes? C'mon now...

I realize some are bots and some are return visitors to see which is getting votes, but I guess I should've put "No Vanity Plates" as an option.

I'm debating vanity plates on my new to me D4. My D3 doesn't have them but my C5 has "BITURBO". Not sure what I'd put on the D4 so I'll probably just get regular plates.

Default The A8 is a gorgeous and stately car...

Congratulations. To me, however, it doesn't lend itself well to a vanity plate. Cars like this generate envy and a snarky plate can put folks over the edge.

In the domain of vanity plates, I have always liked VRSPRNG - which means Vorsrpung durch Technik (which is the German slogan used by Audi - Truth through engineering)

In Tennessee, MTNROAD reveals the quattro nature for bad weather and connects to your beautiful landscape.

Sorry for not voting, but I respected you with a response.

Eric

Better than a vote. I guess ATOMIC is a bit snarky. Never thought of that. In fact someone in a rather dumpy area of Nashville hit my Passat (while it was parked) just above the plate with something - I'm guessing a baseball bat - dented the trunk crease just above the VW emblem. At the time, I thought it was a ricer or a Yankees hater (I have a NYY plate frame).

I just dislike the random nature of the plates they give you. If they had 123-321 I could live with it I guess. For now, I switched the ATOMIC plate to the new sage A8, will probably leave the NYY frame off, and have random #s on the Passat (which is what my daughter wants, she'll be driving the car part time) It's still the best car to take my Black Lab to the lake (back seats fold down).
I'm still surprised A8L didn't get more votes, but I'm thinking of debadging it (except the rings) and the anonymity is +1 on the cool factor IMO.
Thanks,
Tom

I LOL'd.

Many folks around here can't find their own with both hands... It'd be a public service announcement...

Some lady made the news here because she got "JESUS" or something as offensive to the PC/liberal crowd. They revoked it! To that I say

The beige car is my wife's now that I have my "unicorn". I told her I ordered this for hers:

(For the youngsters here, there was a German movie entitled "Das Boot")

I would have voted for "***-END" if listed, I voted A8TOMIC.
