Default will this work....mp3 cds

hi,
I have a 2004 Audi A8L with the 6 CD changer in the glove box.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is the CD player that I would need to add a Mp3 compatibility.

this is that part number i found...

4E0-057-110-E

will this work as a replacement to the current cd changer and allow for mp3cds to work?

thanks!

That one is listed as 2008 and has MP3 capability. I most certainly hope that it will work with earlier models because I ordered one and my A8 is 2005.

Please let us know if 4E0-057-110-E works. I'd like to get it for my 2006 A8.

That's where I buy all my parts- Loree is awesome !!!!

I cheaped out on this one though because I'm not certain if my MMI version will understand it.

Crap. Wish that link had worked yesterday - nothing against the other vendors, but I prefer to do business with AudiUSAparts.

Question: Can you have two changers in the A8 glovebox?
I know the Dension and other units show up as CD2, but seems like I read somewhere you could actually have two.
Or am I just old and imagining things?

As long as I'm asking, is there a minimum MMI level for the MP3 version?
It was discussed somewhere but can't find it now. Thanks-Jake
