anybody know where i can get a full set for my 2005. either oem or aftermarket. checked out weathertech and they only have the fronts.

Do you have the long or standard wheelbase?

Well, not a lot of aftermarket for that model. The A8 is not a common car, and the shorter wheelbase makes up a small amount of the production. I know you can get them online from various dealer sites(often sold as front and rears separately.) Like here, for example.

I have a full set of weathertechs on my 06 A8L. seems strange that they'd have them for mine, but not yours.

for weathertechs....they only make front and back for the A8L. for the standard WB they only have fronts. i dunno why....so weird that they do it like that

It's all about demand. Like people have said, an A8L is rare but as short wheelbase is even rarer so not much demand. They are not going to tool up a mold with such a low demand. The reason where the fronts are available is that the A8 & A8L use the same front mat.

I needed a set for my A8L because I have nieces I transport after softball tournaments. I looked at the Weathertechs but I thought they were way overpriced for what the were. The MAXpider 3D mats were quite nicer and less costly but only had application for D3s, so I went with Audi OEM mats.

I'd avoid the OEM winter mats. I bought a set last year, and I'm not a fan. Go with the weathertechs.
