2007 A8L 19 wheels time to replace the crappy Pirelli P6 Four Seasons that came with the car. Looking at the Yoko Advan Sports vs the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity. Ride smoothness and comfort is important with decent bad weather traction. Any help between choosing between these two? For one, the Yokos are $650 for all 4 while the Bridgestones are $1100!

I haven't had any experience with either one of those specific tires, but a quick glance at them it seems like the tread patterns are very close to one another. For the price, I'd take the Yokos...which part of the country do you live in will depend on how much the all season will matter to you. I live in CT and have the Cooper Zeon RS3As on 19". They perform excellent in the rain and snow and they have a long rated tread wear. They weren't as inexpensive as the Yokos but weren't bad.

I have not sold either of these tires but for the money, I would go for the Yokos. Although the Bridgestones have Silica compounding that will deliver slightly better wet weather traction, I don't think it's worth twice the cost. I actually prefer the Yokos tread pattern.

Thanks for responses. I live in the MD/DC area. This winter has been pretty decent for snow but not bad. 4-5 inches at the most in my area. I'm leaning towards the Yokos based on some reviews I've read.

the yoko's are nice, but generally, i find yoko's ride hard.
and also depending on what generation of advans you're looking at, the treadwear is
pretty low if i remember correctly. but for $650 for a set, that's a hot deal. they're
usually pretty expensive the advan series.

you might want to look into continental extreme contact DW if you want an ultra
high performance compound. there's also michelin pilot super sports which i found
we're really great. i ran them the past two seasons but they're dead now.

I have only tried the Pirelli P-zero. They are actually quite nice. I have tried Yokohamas winter tires. They work very well. Don't think you will be dissapointed going for the yokos for that price!

I have the Advan Sport A/S and love them (with the caveat that I don't drive my car like a sports car). I had them through the New England winter, and they weren't as good as real winter tires by any means, but they were good enough to get by. So far so good on tread wear, at 10k miles.

Yoko YK580's were just put on my A8. Nice A/S tire for a pretty good price.

A pretty much brand new set of them came on my 98 XJR and they've been pretty good in snow for a RWD standard differential car. Not as good as blizzaks or hakkapeliittas, but a solid compromise!
