2011 A8 RSE screen removal?
Wondering if there's a way to remove the rear screens easily? Love the RSE but don't really have a need for the screens and wanted to see if could remove them without a whole lot of effort...

It doesn't look too bad.
You'd likely want to replace the upper seat trim.
I couldn't guarantee it won't throw any DTCs, and you might want to code it out.
- Remove protruding cover on the back of the LCD panel
- 2 screws hold it to the mount
- Unclip the front mount cover and remove
- Release latches to remove back mount cover and remove
- Unclip seat trim and remove
- 2 bolts hold the mount bracket in.
You'd likely want to replace the upper seat trim.
I couldn't guarantee it won't throw any DTCs, and you might want to code it out.
