Can someone please tell me what the red X on the camera icon that appears at night time is trying to tell me? Is it trying to say the picture is not clear due to a lack of light? The red X appears on a blue screen background. Thanks!

Where are you seeing this red X? In the MMI? Or the instrument cluster?

Any possibility of a picture?

I see this red X solely when it is pitch black outside. In the MMI, not the instrument cluster. Again, the red X appears on the camera icon. Don't have a picture as of yet.

Sorry I just want to clarify, we are talking the back up camera?
Is your A8 equipped with TopView?

To me a blue screen with an X sounds like it could be a wiring issue perhaps just a loose connection. You say it only happens when its completely dark outside?

We are talking about the camera for the front and rear. Yes, my A8 is equipped with top view. The issue with the X only happens when it is dark outside. I appreciate all your help.
