I'd think via some setting in the MMI. It was just made available on the A8, so you may want to ask in the A7/S7 forums since they've had the HUD option for a couple of years now. Operation is probably very similar.

I love heads up display however in hot climates they tend to be fragile. Might not be an issue in your area but here in Phoenix HUD is known to fail.

Congratulations! Now if I recall correctly, didn't someone here suggest that price: "I'd think you could get $5-6K, but I'd try for $7K to bring it in at around $118K." Oh wait, it was me! ;-))
Seriously, good going. That's a very fair deal IMHO, considering there aren't that many S8 allocations and dealers really try to hold out for max pricing when they can. What are the car's specs? And now you owe us some glam shots when you pick it up. :-) Again, congrats!

Will get some pics up tomorrow. Is a beautiful car. Derf, your were spot on with your guess of what they'd let one go for. I had expected a little more wiggle room on their part but alas...

Am going to get some winter tires here in 6 weeks. Can anyone give a recommendation? Will get winter rims / tires. Am a big fan of Nokian winter tires, have been running them since I had an old a4 in college. Anyone have a recommendation of smaller wheel and tire combo?

Anyone looking for invoice price google "NADA" price guide. There they have ALL makes and models and you can actually build the exact audi you want and it will show you the retail and invoice price, and it is spot on. I just took delivery of a 2015 S8 that stickered at $125 and change. I recommend going to the dealer a few days before the end of the month as these guys absolutely will do anything to get a car over the finish line to get their monthly unit sales as high as possible.
Using that strategy and taking one from stock (they had the perfect car for me) I was able to get the car for $1500 over invoice AND also took advantage of $5000 factory cash (available in my area (North East) for current owners of BMW Benz Acura? and Lexus (through October 2nd or around there). Do not have to trade car, just own one. I have an X5M so that counted. So bottom line was about $114,000.
My car has no extended leather (waste of money!) or night vision ( i think now i wish i had it). Has B&O sound but for $6300 i am not at all impressed and in fact very disappointed. Going to HAVE to add a sub for sure and that is ridiculous. Also rotor rims, winter package and drivers assist/adaptive cruise (a must have now that i have it). Its the end of the month now so if you are a player get in there.
