On/Off and windshield positioning of the display is by a knurled metal **** next to the light switch. Brightness is controlled in the MMI.

I just bought a 2015 S8 (Phantom Black) week ago and the MSRP was $125,330. I ended up paying $119k out the door. I concur that $5-$6K off MSRP is about right. I also agree that the Bang & Olufsen system doesn't sound that great....definitely not worth $6300.

$6,300 spent at a good stereo shop would get you much better bang for your buck.

On another note I can confirm that my Valentine 1 falses like crazy I'm guessing because of all the radars on board for cruise control and land departure etc.
Can anyone confirm that the Passport Escort 9500ci does not do this? I def need a radar solution

I definitely wasted my money on the stereo....lol. I have a Passport Max and it works very well. There were some issues (not Audi sensor related) with it until they updated the firmware.

Anyone have a good strategy for improving the B&O system. Lack of bass and clarity disappointing.

Yes buy a Cayenne or Panamera with the Burmester system. I have an S8 on order that is forecast to arrive with week of Oct 6. Replacing my Cayenne S. I am very excited about the S8. Ordered it with B&O but already know i will be inferior to the Burmester - I believe everything is.

Keep an open mind about B&O. I am not sure why people are complaining about it. I have B&O and I like it a lot. I see people complaining about the lack of bass, what are you trying to do rattle the windows? I hear everything with my B&O system and don't require window rattling to prove anything. B&O is a good system.
