Default 2016 A8 Audi Front License Plate Holder

Help! Do any of you nice folks know if there is some special type of frame that is used to mount the front license plate to a 2016 Audi A8 or is it just mounted to the front grill with sheet metal screws. Thank you one and all for any help provided.
A Patriot!

I don't believe it's something they would pull you over for, unless they already had you for something else. Just like I tell my wife on the highway the speed limit signs are B more of a suggestion.

You're right but here in NJ if they catch you with no front plate it'll cost you a $500 fine!

I'm pretty sure it's just a $54 ticket, but maybe I'm wrong.

You would think that actual license plates would be a thing of the past. With the technology they have today they could just put on some sort of electronic "chip" that would attach to your windshield and tell the policy and everything they want to know about your car, etc. Besides, 99% of the time they stop someone it has nothing to do with the cat, it's the driver they want info on, so the license plate serves very little real purpose.

BTW, anyone know why when you post something on this web-site it always misspells one or two of the words you wrote.

It misspells a lot of mine from this iPhone. It's auto correct sometimes it helps, sometimes a pain. It's not the website.
It helps the police identify the car and county from the front. They have readers that can detect and identify plate going 50+ mph going past them.
