2016 A8L in Scuba blue?
Hello all- Looking at an upgrade from my 2007 A8L to a 2016 A8L and just cant quite feel any of the standard colors- Black is out, and Moonlight Blue is too dark for me. Have seen the scuba blue on several other models and think it would work on the A8L. While I know this is a personal choice, has anyone ever seen this, or similar color on the A8?

Ends up being an Audi Exclusive order if you want to open your wallet that far. Our Q5 is Scuba Blue so absolutely could work. From doing various searches there have maybe been as few as either one or two Audi Exclusives on the market at any one time that I have found in recent months in D4's in any motor around the country--two with standard exteriors but unusual interiors and one an older basic red W12 w/ normal (lighter color) W12 interior that has been on the market sucking wind for what seems like a year.
And yes, Audi needs to do better than the same boring trap the German co's have all fallen into in recent years generally--Jawohl, any color you want as long as it is basically 3-4 shades of each of hard to distinguish black, white, grey or silver. Midnight Blue is the only even slight exception currently. And, it seems like 80% plus of the cars the dealers have are black interior.

Scuba Blue would be sharp. I haven't seen it on an A8, before. I liked the red W12 MP4 referred to, I saw someone with a 3.0T in the same color and it was very pretty. The right color combo has always been very important to me, so if Scuba Blue is what you want, I say go for it, and please post a picture.

I think Scuba Blue would look good too - if it's not too bright for a car that large. I always thought the Garnet Red Metallic from the A6/7 line would look great on an A8. If you want to look at all the Audi Exclusive colors, you can go to the Audi UK site and build a car. There is a color selector that shows every one of the available colors from Audi. Some pretty crazy colors there.
