Anyopinions on colour on a new A8. Looking at Floret Silver. Dark colours do look good but upkeep drives me crazy. (current car black)

I live 0.4 miles up a dusty gravel road and could never do a dark color. I have an A6 with Ice Silver Metallic which doesn't show the dirt very much. It was the only car that was available with the options I wanted when the 2014 TDIs first came out and I didn't want to wait (as it was I had to wait a few weeks for the boat to dock, etc). Have you seen Cuvée Silver Metallic? I have not seen it but I ask because on the Audi webpage it looks like a color that would show dirt even less.

I have an A8L in Phantom Black Pearl. While the car looks great when it is perfectly clean, it is a real problem keeping it that way and when it's not it shows EVERYTHING. If I was doing it over I'd definitely get a silver color.

I live on 1.5 miles of gravel. No way I could do a dark color. Everything I had used to be black, never again! I will not go dark again.


Sliver or grey! Whites not too bad surprisingly.

Dark colors highlight the beauty of the A8. Just look at the A8 in Phantom Black Pearl posted by rodster111. The chrome, the wheels, the lights contrast beautifully with the dark color !

I dunno, I rather like white with the black roof.

I'm looking at getting mine Plastidip'ed matte white with a gold ghost pearl effect. Some local fellows are national award winners at dipping cars. They do a great job at making it look completely OEM yet unmistakably custom.
