Default Anyone do any appearance mods to their A8 that they really like?

Was wondering if anyone had done any appearance mods (other than wheels) to the A8 that they really like.

I like the idea of adding a rear trunk spoiler - but most of those don't look very "factory".

I also like the idea of adding side door strips to prevent dinging from other car doors - it also gives the car a sculpted look to the sides.

And then there are the newer models 2016-2017 model Audis that are adding a factory black/smoke tint to the rear tail lights that looks pretty nice.

What has everyone done to enhance the appearance of their A8?

My $.02, don't add the side strips, won't look good imho. A small trunk spoiler like on the S8+ would be perfect. Only other mods that I can really think of would be to black out all of the chrome trim on the car, I loathe chrome. I tried it with vinyl, myself, did not work out well...have it done professionally. There's really not much else you can do unless you want to update the front bumper, assuming your car isn't the facelift model...

My vote is a sportier set of wheels and a nice tint on the windows.

I would be interested in a S8 style spoiler. Has anyone has gone the Ebay route and had good results?

Also on bumper, you could go the S8 type look, which I guess would also be the facelift 4.0T.

A variety of OE wheel choices too, some common, some not. Can also play with the floor mats for non factory ones, dress up the brake look if not already S8 detailing and VCDS suspension height mod. Can also space (factory) wheels some, more so in back. No one seems to do it w/ these but an extension of the suspension height mod would be to play with the front to back rake some. D series Audi's are essentially "flat" front to back and the apparent rake is really just in the body style lines and creases. Could also wrap the roof (white, black or other), though seems more common with BMW or Merc. crowd. Underhood I did the dipstick add (and how to post) and R8+ Porsche oil cap and coolant bottle cap (another post...).

depending on what year you have, I did do the lower bumper valence mod - so now I have the rectangular/oblong/trapezoid tips instead of the the smaller circle ones. Looks fresher. Cost me about $1200 with paint and parts and install. for a bit more you can get the S8 lower valence.

If I wind up getting a 2011-2012 instead of the 2013-2014 - I will definitely do this.

Care to share the parts list, etc. needed to do this?

Will a front bumper from 2015 s8 fit regular 2015 A8? How about fitting 15 s8 bumper on 13 A8?
