Appied one of those nano-based wheel coatings yesterday...

Am tempted to try some Renaissance Wax on my wheels - something I discovered through my horological studies.

Perhaps a wheel wax or wheel glaze specifically designed for our clear coat painted wheels?

Then again I just gave away about $600 worth of unused cleaners and stuff purchased shortly after the D4.
I'll fess up... it all sounds like a good idea to me, but I end up taking it to Audi and let them do it...

Yeah, I was going to have my dealer recommended detail guy do the work, but I want to do it at least one more time myself since I'm on vacation and can spread the process over a couple of days.

Derf- I hear you about sore muscles. I used some of the Detailers Pro series products for the windshield and paint. I haven't gotten around to the wheels yet.
The paint prep product was actually pretty easy to use. The glass product was actually easier to use than rain-x and tended to streak less and didn't seem so waxy like the rain-x. We'll see how it holds up.
The paint product went on well and seems very similar to the Klasse paint sealer with the same sort of result.
I liked the results on quartz grey that I decided to use it on my black Range Rover. The results were more dramatic on black. Overall the products are pricey but I would recommend them. We'll see how they hold up.
Just my two cents.
Merry Christmas.

Well, finally had the time and warmer weather conditions to apply the Pinnacle Black Lable polish and ceramic nano-glass particle coating to the paint, glass and head/tail light covers. Turned out to be a full day affair, but I think the results were worth it. The outside temps started to drop in the last hour of coating application, which made applying the ceramic coating more difficult---had to work really fast as the liquid virtually hardened on contact on the colder paint. I still want to apply the Pinnacle Synergy carnuba/nano glass wax, but the temps are dropping again, so I'll wait for more moderate conditions to do that---and for my aches and pains to go away💪.
Here's a pic of the end results on Panther Black after yesterday's workout---we'll see how this stuff holds up over time.
