Audi A8L D4 Trunk Fuse Box Location
I have seen this question asked several times on several forums. I know because I was confused as to the location myself and was looking for help to no avail.
The trunk fuse box is behind the black rectangular plastic square on the right hand side of the rear wall against the seats. There is no finger hole or even a notch to assist or make you believe this piece is removable. If you use a flat head screwdriver from the top, you can pry it open. Behind that is the trunk fuse box.
Alternatively, you can (from the top) remove the entire back wall piece with your hand by pulling it away from the seats. I would not be rough about it, but it does not appear that the clips are fragile.
It seems as though the most common reason for needing to access this is for the fuse for the front cigarette lighter as it tends to blow if moisture from a drink gets in the port. The fuse is in column D (forth one from the left), and the forth one from the top (20A fuse).

If moisture from the drink is getting in there, it's not much of a stretch for it to get into some other very sensitive and very expensive places. Be careful.

I've blown several cigarette lighter fuses over the years with pennies and dimes. You would think they would put that fuse in and easier to get to location. I've gotten in the habit of keeping something plugged in so change can't fall in there.
