Default Audi Care

Need a little help from the group here (advice). I bought my 2015 S8 last September and they had a program where AudiCare was included in the sale of the car as a promotion.
I took my car into to get its 15k service done last week (different dealer) and they called me today to tell me that my car was not enrolled in Audi Care that I owed $500 and that I needed to show proof of its enrollment in Audi Care.
When I bought the car I was told it was included and I never thought to ask for something in writing the same way when you buy a BMW you don't ask for written proof that they will perform the scheduled maint for the first 36 months.

Does anyone have a link or information that I could provide the dealer that corroborates my story. Purchased the car early September of last year.

Thanks!

PS - Has been the best car I've ever owned and other than needing an alignment has been trouble free.

Basic AudiCare for the S8 is usually optional and costs around $1,100-$1,200. The fact that they say you only owe $500 sounds like it was indeed a promotion. Perhaps there was a communication issue. That said, AudiCare is a value at $1,200 and a steal at $500.

Per my SA when I came in a few months ago, Audi Care was free at initial purchase for both A8/S8. I bought mine second hand, but the Audi Care coverage stays with the car through the 40k service.

Correct. I'm being charged for the service that should be covered under Audi Care. The question is how do you prove that Audi Care was included for S8's purchased last August (august 15).

I did a search for "complimentary audi care a8" and this old A8 page shows a complimentary AudiCare program that ran from 10/3/2014 to 1/2/2015: Audi San Diego | New Audi dealership in San Diego, CA 92126. And this page shows a program from 01/08/2013 - 10/02/2014: Sunset Audi | Portland Oregon's New and Used Audi Dealership. That would seem to cover all of 2014.

The dates seem coincidentally sequentual, but they still could be dealer-specific specials vs. nationwide programs, i.e., incentives thrown in for purchases at that dealership. There wasn't such an Audi program running when I purchased my 2015 S8 in July, so I purchased Audi Care myself.

Purchased mine in November '15 and Audi Care was complimentary, and my 15,000 service was $0.00.

14?

i purchased mine in late Feb '15 and it was not complimentary but was negotiated into the deal at 0$, so that I seemingly didn't pay for it.
