The issue is that Audi is running low on parts. Very few people are getting upgrades at this point.

Thanks

I contacted with this info to Audi customer service with an email and attachment of invoice that I got it from my fellow members and they denied again didn't say anything about when is my chance of getting the upgrade.
Can some one suggest what are my next options?

I've gone through this with Audi and the conclusion is that I will never get an upgrade.

You mean we need to live with the lame MMI with 2G for ever? There is no way out of it?
Being A8 a flagship product and this is how Audi treat their customers?

Well, not exactly the same as mine is a '15, but I will never get another Audi because of my experiences dealing AOA.

Yes that is exactly what I was told. Audi will never upgrade cars that are not on the "list". I emailed, called, online chated, had the dealership I bought it from complain. Nothing worked. I'm now watching ebay for parts so I can do it myself someday.

Your car's MMI was never affected by the 2g/3g fiasco with T-Mobile as it was already fitted with the newest hardware. I suspect that there will be more than a few of us upset with AOA in the next few years. It sounds like some serious belt tightening is going to happen at Audi in order to financially survive the diesel scandal. It actually sounds like they might scrap the D5.

You can always trade in for a newer model.
