My 2012 A8L is Audi certified with maintenance package and I am about to go in for 65k service. Does Audi know if I made some VagCom changes and/or will they be reset every time I go in? Does it void any part of the warranty/certification? Thanks in advance for your help!

The only time your mods would be reversed is if a specific module was updated as part of an MMI version update. In the last 8 years, with several MMI updates, I've only had a couple of mods defaulted back and it took me just a few minuted to reset them. As to the warranty, no, typical mods will not void it unless you did something that affected vehicle performance that subsequently caused an operational issue that required a repair. A good reason to stick to proven VCDS mods when you don't know what you're doing.

Awesome thanks for the quick response! I haven't done the mods yet but was looking at lowering 15mm and video in motion this week and using the instructions provided in previous posts. Just want to know if I should take it into Audi before doing the Mods...

I never had a problem with mine. I lost some when I updated the mmi, but as Snag said, it only took a couple minutes to put them back. The dealer was perfectly fine with them, it's anything modifying drivetrain parameters they worry about.
