Automatic window open/close
So I have what I hope is a thoroughly dumb question.
I had my car ('12 D4 NWB) at the dealer yesterday to look into why the rear sunshade was stuck (motor failed, apparently it's a pretty common issue). As part of the investigation, the tech was playing with some of the MMI settings as well as checking to see if the fuses had blown.
When I got my car back (new sunshade part is on order), my front windows no longer do the full open/close with a single tap on the button. They do open or close just fine, but I have to keep the button held down the whole time. Rear windows still activate with a single push of the buttons.
I'm assuming that there's some kind of 'auto open' setting in the MMI or another switch, but I can't find it, and didn't see anything too obvious in the manual.
Any ideas?
John

It has not happened (yet) to my D4 so don't really know if its the same but whenever my old D2 was disconnected from the battery it behaved the same. The fix was to run it up and down (maybe a few times) and then the auto up and down would be back to its up&down on-touch thing.

Run down and up one full cycle w/ switch held.
It needs to relearn after any power disconnect. What it is learning is the full up and down points of course, but it ties into pinch protection as a safety feature--so it knows if it hits a lot of resistance going up and it isn't closed, it must be an obstruction and needs to reverse.
