Welcome to the obsession. Love the S8 and was on my watch list but ended up with an A8L 4.0T Sport.
Here's a link to the press pack for your model year...

thanks guys.
Rich, nearly went the A8L 4.0T Sport route and planned some tuning but couldn't stop thinking about the S8 for some reason. Love your wheels! Thanks for the press pack!

Yep. S7 = S6 = A8 4.0T, w/ some minor HP differences between years and actually faster accelerating A8 conventional AT. S8 = RS 7 more or less, esp. if you conclude rated HP on S8 is sandbagged as most every third party test out there has confirmed.

I was comparing size, and since its interior volume was the same as the S6...it was out for me along with the RS7. My wife and I have a 4.5 month old...and hope to have another, so when they are both front facing Ill consider an RS7 or Panamera. For now, the S8 is the best of all worlds. Took our son for his first ride yesterday and no front seat space was compromised with the huge rear facing infant seat!

Standard OEM Machined face wheel - I don't have a part number for them but may be able to find one.
I like them as well, don't see them too often. One thing for sure - they are heavy, especially comparing them to BMW wheels they're beefy.
