What mounts are you all using? Suction? Magnetic?

I can't speak for everyone else, but I never used a mount. Bluetooth takes care of calls, cable takes care of music and I don't need to see it, and the factory navigation works quite well. If I need to use my phone for anything else, I need to pull over anyway to stay safe and compliant with the law. To answer your question, I don't think there is anyplace a magnetic mount will work, so suction or one where something is otherwise adhered are the best options. I can't think of a good place anything could clip in place either.

I like the Bluetooth for calls, but I like the "Waze" app a lot better for navigation and it alerts you to where cops are also.

+1 on Waze. Fantastic GPS app. The OEM system is good but using my phone is 100% better for my usage. Being fairly new to the Northeast and it's convoluted roads I rely on it a lot.

+1 on the iOttie mount. The suction cup is amazing, I've been using it in my work truck for over a year now. Been trying to find a good spot to mount it in the Audi.

try that one...i have the older cd slot one from koomis and it is awesome and looking at this post i searched and found this updated one and just bought it. the magnet is strong and will not move during turns or bumps or anything. my favorite mount i have ever used.

It fits in the front cupholder great and when I don't need it, I can remove it easily and stow it in the side door pocket.

That is nice. The downside to using the window type is having to remove when using my sun shade. But I do prefer to look forward vs having to look down.
