Brake pads, DIY?

Learning fast now, checking the PR number (which I had to google first to understand what it was) and there are not a lot of options and sticking to ATE in the front which must be what was in there originally. I am getting ATE for the rears as well even though the original are TRW but ATE comes with a complete package including new bolts and that sheet metal thing.

Just did the rears and it was very straight forward, maybe 1.5h but then the second was a lot quicker than the first. There were however wear sensors on both inner pads, some of the stuff I've read has indicated that the EPB calculates the thickness and warns when low and others have said its just one sensor but it's 2. The old ones had 2mm left and the original pads were Ferado marked 139-23 FE FL1 and a bit of googling seems to indicate the FE part is a friction rating. Never heard of Ferado before, link:http://www.ferodo.com
I did not do any thickness adaptation as I assumed that is only needed when the EPB calculates thickness for wear, I think the EPB manages this automatically when you close the EPB after the change but I will try to find out.
The rosstech video was very helpful as were the other videos.
I also tried to figure out the torque rating for the bolts but there was no space for my tool so did it by feeling my way so to speak.

Ferodo = Federal Mogul historically. One of the big brake components players out there. Along with Bendix and some others. Names now on the scrap heap of history with LBO's, merger mania and other corporate value subtracts, along with costs of dealing with generations of asbestos issues.
