California (CARB) bounces 3.0TDI fix...again
We don't have a lot of U.S. D4 A8 3.0 TDI owners here, but a cross post to one I just put up on the Q5 board about California's latest regulatory developments on the 3.0TDI. Not good news.
Click through for both a New York Times article and the CARB letter itself. : https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q5-...again-2903682/

TDI
Thank you very much for posting this.
I have owned 2014 TDI for six months, and it has thoroughly enjoyable, except for a few quirks… One of these days post some pictures and a list of the modifications I have done.
It will be interesting to follow the developments!

This is not good for VW but I am somewhat encouraged that those of us who want to keep our cars/SUV's might not have to worry so much about a "fix" being part of the settlement. Thanks for posting.

So if I were to buy used 2014 A8 TDI now how things potentially could play out for me with all this fiasco?
Looks like I may be able to get into 2014 with 79k for about 30. To me that's very attractive. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
