Common issues with the A8?
#11
I had the LS a few years ago, only problem became it felt like driving in your arm chair and nothing could be done to get away from that feeling, bought a new A8 2015 now 20 months old apart from the MMI developing a red line on screen which was replaced in one visit I've had no other problems whats so ever, knock on wood.
It's more of a driver's car when you want it to be, or it will waft you along in comfort, couple that with frugal MPG for me it's an all round winner.

Could not agree more! I had an LS430 and LS460, both of which were comfortable and reliable and comfortable and reliable! Period! Nothing more and nothing less. The A8L on the other hand, is comfortable, reliable, handles well and has awesome performance and acceleration. Very much a drivers car as well as a passengers delight. There is absolutely no reason to go back to any Japanese vehicle or any other vehicle period regardless of country of manufacture.
