For the 55k 65k and 75k I was quoted ~ $1600
I would think this is car dependent.

It took 40,000 miles to discover low compression in 5 cylinders? Fascinating.

I don't remember the name of the extended warranty company that my car has but it was the one recomended by the Audi dealership when the car was purchased new. I used it for the first time this week, the original warranty expired a few months ago. The motor that switches the front ac from the defrost position to the right passanger ac vent went out. The total cost to have it fixed at the dealership was $932.00, all I could think was that I am 100% sure that the warranty is going to more than pay for itself by the time it expires, which will be the time to trade in the ole A8.

OK, I have been searching for extending warranty options for my new SQ5 I will receive next month. Does anyone have experience with a company named Wanted Auto Protect?
I have found many good reviews, but still not sure.
Here is what was quoted:

2016 Audi SQ5 with 0 miles.
Ultimate Package:
3 years or an additional 45,000 miles for $1,550.00 with a $100 deductible
5 years or an additional 100,000 miles for $2,300.00 with a $100 deductible.

--- Our coverage will begin once the factory warranty expires.

Here is the link for the coverage. Never added a link on here before, so you may have to copy and past the link into your browser.

I just looked mine up, the company is LDS (Louisiana Dealer Services Inurance). It was $2710 purchased when the car had 6k miles. It is good for 7 years or 60k miles with no deductable. It covers everything except trim pieces and the normal maintainance parts like brake pads, battery, etc.

I am a low mileage driver so I keep cars longer, my 2011 A8 has 17k miles. I woud never skimp on the extended warranty with a vehicle that has such a high potential cost post original warranty.

What I am considering for my next car is a lease with the lowest mileage option and I'll deduct 3k from the lease price because I won't need the warranty. I have a feeling that the total cost of ownership will be similar because Audi probably overstates their residuals on their flagship for their lease program. I know the trade in value on my car now is well below half of sticker, not to mention the additional cost of the extended warranty and Audi Care. There is something almost demoralizing about looking at a $100k car in my garage with 17k miles and knowing if I want to trade it in for a new one, I will get aound 35k for it.

anyone have referrals to Audi dealers for extended warranty quotes? Since this is just a paper process and payment that's needed, I don't need to use my local dealer necessarily. I have a feeling they're marking it up quite a bit.

Thanks, but I already connected with Troy a few months back. Unfortunately he can't quote Audi extended warranties unless you have a minimum of 1 yr or 10k miles remaining on factory 4 yr/50k warranty. I've got 44k miles with factory warranty expiring 12/24/15.

He offered Fidelity quotes as an alternative but doing my BBB research, these guys have 130+ bad claims from consumers which is really high. I'd like to use Audi extended warranties for peace of mind on coverage.

The audi pure protection extended service contract is backed by Fidelity - i know by looking at my Audi pure protection platinum contract.

If that worries you, I have had good luck with Easy care and Zurich policies.
