These policies are cheap! BMW wanted almost $7k for their extended warranty on my 750. I used Mercury and it was a deal at $4200, $50 deductible, for up to 85k miles after my warranty expired.

Are you guys looking at an extended warranty ON TOP of the CPO Warranty? From what the dealer explained the CPO is nice but it doesn't cover everything like the original warranty.

Default Warranty cost on the 3.0T?

ah! This was the thread I was looking for and what ya know it was right there on the first page...

I'm curious to know the price difference for extended warranty on the 4.2 vs. 3.0T. Wouldn't the warranty cost substantially more b/c of the supercharger?

I called one extended warranty company I found online and they don't even offer anything for 3.0T.. (4.2 yes, 3.0T no)

Did any of you guys purchase an extended warranty on 3.0T?

Thanks Cap! That's helpful for sure. I have Fidelity platinum w/$100 deductible now on my D3, used it quite a bit.

I wonder what it would be for the 3.0T supercharged model.

Anyone have any experience with All State extended warranty? I just brought my q7 with less than 6000 miles at a dealer but I also purchased extended warranty as I do about 20000 miles a year due to my job. I am thinking of canceling my current warranty with them and purchasing the extended warranty with Fidelity (Audi Insurance ) at my local dealer... I want to do it sooner than later. What do you guys think? Should I stay with All State or should I purchase through Audi Dealer? I also purchased tire protection but I should've just done it with Audi again as they replace tires but don't repair....All State tries to repair first. Not sure if to cancel or not....AllState cost me 100K/6yrs for about $5000 with $200 deductible. Any response would surely help me out. Thanks....

I didn't know that all state had an extended warranty. I would call Troy at fd - warranty and compare coverage, pricing and deductibles.

Most tire policies repair first if the tire is repairable. Unrepairable punctures are in the sidewall or on the first row of tread block on both the inner and outer edges.

Audi newbie here and haven't even picked up my car due to an ice storm in Chicago today. I purchased a 2012 A4 Quattro Prestige, Sport, Convenience, Cold packages - totally loaded from an Infiniti Dealer so it is not CPO. The car was a local trade-in, has 20k miles and was serviced at the Audi dealership across from the Infiniti Dealer in Westmont IL. CarFax clean. They want me to buy an extended warranty through Infiniti who I was told uses All-State. Any opinions on extended warranties and on All-State's policies? The one they are promoting has a $100 Deductible and is around 2k for 24 months - I think. I hesitate as I've never purchased an extended warranty on any of my prior cars, thinking if they are a quality car they should last. Opinions??

I have a friend at an audi dealer who got me an audi/fidelity warranty a bit cheaper than Troy, but both were in similar price ranges. Feel free to PM me if intetested.

I had 5 star wrap extended warranty by Warranty solutions (backed by Wells Fargo) on my BMW.. You pay your deductible and never had any issue with getting repairs done at authorized dealerships.. Check 'em out..
