So far so good with the A8. Still getting used to the car. Not sure it "fits" me just yet but I'm sure I will come around. A couple of general comments for the veterans on the forum.

1. I've noticed that after starting the car I sometimes need to hit the seat memory button to finish adjusting back to the setting prior to turning off the car. It seems that after shutdown both the steering wheel and seat move to aid in the exit and entry. On startup the reset doesn't seem complete so I press the memory key. Again, this doesn't happen all of the time. Sometimes it's fine.

2. The lane change assist takes some getting used to. Maybe I need to adjust the settings but it seems to have a little to much presence when even cruising straight down the highway. I find myself turning it off most of the time.

3. Is there a way to play jukebox in a random or shuffle format?

4. Finally, what settings do you guys run at? I'm set on individual with a Dynamic for suspension, and auto for everything else.

I run auto for all but dynamic steering
I too have turned off the lane departure system

All set to dynamic

Check settings on Juke Box (when it is playing the Setting button is bottom right) and you can click Random play (it does not remember this every time you turn off the car, go figure)

My steering wheel moves but not the seat

The Lane Departure thing is the SPAWN OF THE DEVIL! It messes up my radar detector when I come across a car which has that EVIL system. EVIL I TELL YOU!

No I don't have it...LOL, my wife Q7 does and my dads A8L does. It's pretty good I guess but I do have an issue with the radar detector.

Tell me, does it make sense that the radar frequency used by the car system would be different than the bands used by the cops? when will valentine have a new system that ignores the car systems?
