What does sport plus package do? I have all of these in my car besides that and rear seat comfort

Sports Plus package adds the Audi dynamic steering, the 20" galvano silver split 5-spoke wheels with 265x40x20 all-season tires and, most importantly, the rear sports differential. Here's a pic of the Sports Plus pkg wheels.

Jake, at the end of the day, the refresh was enough to keep the A8 interesting for me. The Panny is a nice car and a great drive, but I keep seeing the same suspension/noise issues crop up on the Porsche forums to kill it for me. The new Macan was intriguing for a while, but my wife loves the A8 and the Panther Black Audi exclusive color and she wasn't in the mind frame to "trade down" in the luxury department; despite the fact that the Macan is a blast to drive, I'm just not an SUV kinda guy---at least not at the moment :-). As for the S550, it looks nice from the outside, but I'm just not into its interior design. Besides, I see a ton of them in my neck of the woods and didn't want to join the "maddening crowd" of MB folks ;-). Are you close to placing an order?

The new swage lines and overall styling are very intriguing to me.
This model is definitely more than the average facelift in my opinion.


I too have looked very seriously at the S550 and found the same issue.
The interior just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the vehicle, and they are rather 'popular' here too...


Yet to decide - mostly haven't had the time to get up close and personal with one yet.
The lack of the matrix LED and LTE certainly hasn't helped in my case....

Unless a test drive puts it over the top, I'm likely going to wait one more year.
That will put me at 3 years in this A8 and fit nicely with the D5 timing likelihood.

Never thought I would say this but the 4.0T is kind of calling my name...

Likely that the D5 reaches us here in North America as a 2018 MY launched in late 2017. That speculation worked well with my timing on a 2015 MY 3-year lease. OMG, I just placed the darn order, and now you've got me planning on the next car!!! LOL.

Does the Sport Plus package enhance the drive considerably? I like the Galvano wheels.

Why did you order Night Vision? I rarely use it, but I don't drive at night often.
