That does tie off to me. About 0.3 to 0.4 0-60 delta was to be expected given the prior factory vs. real world testing differences. Extraordinarily fast as they point out, totally stock. As is the preexisting S8, or even 4.0T for that matter. ¼ mile numbers and roll outs would be telling too, particularly in the P90D stats comparo realm.

I see they did confirm that from test to test, the carbon ceramic brakes didn't change any measured numbers--but were CCB stereotype grabby on casual stops--and the skidpad handling was the essentially the same. As they noted though, it was (still) all extremely well dialed in as before. Sounds familiar.

I don't care, works for me.
Stealthy looks preferred, have no need to show off or prove something to anyone.
I like the interior (which I see all the time, not the exterior) and know what I have, let the rest think I'm driving an airport cab.

That is exactly how I would phrase it. Over the weekend I've got my exotic to show off, if I feel like it that is

+1

Personally I like the fact that my S8 is a real sleeper and, yes, the interior is second to none.

Car guys know what it is though.

Ravill, are you and your friends wearing masks of past presidents and robbing banks to finance your endless summer?

As long as you don't mind voiding what's left of your warranty.
