Took my Dad to Glacier this weekend before putting him on the plane to go home. If you ever have the chance to go through the park TAKE IT. Absolutely gorgeous! Pics below don't do it justice.
Speed limit is 25mph and you often can't go that fast. The road is barely, and I mean barely 2 cars wide. It was a little stressful as you have a rock wall and huge drop on the way up and the side of the mountain on the way down. Neither would be pleasant to run into. I will say that engine braking is phenomenal. I hardly had to touch the brakes on the way down.
