How to verify a CPO Audi A8
Hi,
I am about to purchase a 2011 Audi A8. It is supposed to be a CPO. My question is how do I verify it is indeed a CPO? Is there a document that I will sign saying it is a CPO?
Thanks,
Anthony

If you give the vin number to any Audi dealer, they would know and may even give you some service history. I bought my 08 S6 from a GM dealer, needed new front brakes and rotors, and found out I had CPO and Audicare. Before my CPO warranty expire, had thermostat, electrical harness replaced and rear seat belt reel replaced too. The Audicare covered a 85km service would have cost over $1000. Lucky. You must check it out.

IIRC, there is a lengthy check list and a CPO package presented to the owner. This is supposed to verify the CPO process had been completed and the car eligible for coverage.

Uberwgn, yes I am buying it from a US Audi dealership. And I will be sure to ask for the CPO package. The funny thing is that I am taking delivery tomorrow and only today it is going through the certification. I asked what happened if it failed? He told me that whatever issue they found, the will fix it and make sure it pass certification. I won't know till tomorrow. That's why I am asking the forum how to verify.
Now I know and will ask for the CPO package.
Thanks a lot.
