And I thought I had a fast car...
The German highways are a treat at times for people who like to play with the power in their cars, I've pushed my A8's to around 270km/h which btw the D4 handles very well but 340km/h would probably lift our A8's off the tarmac. Can't help feeling a bit challenged though, anyone know how to disable the speed limit thing on these cars...?

The only way to remove the speed limiter is to get it tuned. If you go to APR's website it will tell you all the tune does. It does give your V8 an extra 125 hp or so as well.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that once a tuner gets a hold of it your power train warranty is probably voided.

Pretty much any modification to the drivetrain will flag a vehicle.

Impressive tuning, you can switch the new ecu program on and off with your Iphone!
Only works for the newish 4.0TFSI engine though so those of us with the older 4.2 FSI engines will have to stick with what we've got.
