Those of you trying to reduce turbo lag. Getting the throttle opened faster will not help turbo lag. You need to get heat into the turbos to get them spinning quicker to reduce turbo lag.

Op, getting the car a little lower would indeed be a nice present. Perhaps a set of spacers to move the wheels a little further out to make the car look a little more aggressive.

BTW, where are you located?

I agree. I also find some people do not know how to use the launch control properly as well. All the YouTube videos I watched only 2 got it right.

You have to make sure the dash says ACC off and Braking Guard off.

Does this exist on the 4.2 FSI or is this specific to later D4's?

Ok, that's for a Q5. What's the procedure for an S8?

its the same, go to 1:37 of this video. I was always curious on how some car reviewers got 4.5 seconds and some got 3.5. I figured they didn't turn the launch control on properly. They will just hold down the brake and rev the car with out turning off the other components.

jeez, can't imagine doing this off the line. Seems like it's overkill. I just want quicker throttle response but then again, I'm sure I'm going to try this!

I'm going to have to wait, what with this weather. Was this introduced with the D4's in 2011 or did it come later?
