Hi guys -

I just picked up a 2011 A8 L for my wife, we both love the car. One thing I've noticed is that when I open the driver's door, the memory numbers (Off,1,2,set) do not light up. So at night it's tough for me to see which number to push. However when I start the car everything is lite up. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Nope, no control switches/buttons illuminate until the car is powered up IIRC. Also don't recall any MMI setting for it. Congrats on getting the A8. I just turned in a 2011 and it was a pleasure to drive for the more than 3 and a half years I had it.

Thank you for the warm welcome. That's funny because her 2012 A6 memory buttons lite up when I opened the door? Not the end of the world.

I need to order blizzaks tomorrow. Her A6 set up won't fit and we're getting hammered with snow in Upstate NY right now!
