I find the "owners manual" a little lacking overall. Compared to the manual for my Porsche and my Lexus, the Audi manual has lots of holes.

Funny you say that as I was getting a little frustrated earlier looking something up to answer another thread.
There seems to be a ton of information in there, but finding it can be tricky.

I think the translation of the index from German to English left some gaps.
Find myself having to think in German or remember the Audi-ism to get close to finding things sometimes.

The app won't load on my iPhone 4s as it says only for an iPad. Couldn't get it on my iPad either as I have the old IOS on it as I don't want to lose the old map program and won't upgrade to 7.0.

However, it's interesting that searching apps for it wouldn't show the item at all and wondered if it's because I'm in Canada? The only way I could find it was using the link in this thread.

Just looked at audi.ca and it doesn't show up, so wouldn't be surprised.

Too much damn legalese and who will make a penny these days....
Ran into the same issue today over at the NAWCC with cross border stuff.

Ridiculous as we're all part of the bigger community and everyone is neighbors in my mind.

This is a great app! And yes, the majority of it does indeed relate to the 2011-2014 models as well. The app is so large because it covers the full Audi line and not just the A8/S8. The best part is that it can be downloaded for offline viewing when out of wi-fi/cell range and if it slows down your device, you can always just send it back to the cloud. I downloaded to an iPad3 with iOS 8.1.2 and it works perfectly. My iPhone is the 4s with iOS 7 and between the small screen and the compatibility still in Beta mode with the 4s, I will wait until I get my new 6 to use on my phone.
