If so, what kind of wax(es) do you use.

That black is beautiful.

No wax. I was going to have it paint corrected and nano-ceramic coated....

... now I'm debating on wraping the car to protect the paint from chips/scratches... I wanted a white car when this one fell in my lap...

That last pic of your car after you washed it has nothing on it, no wax, nothing?

Had Phantom Black on my 2008 D3 A8L and didn't think it looked anywhere near as black as the Brilliant Black that cloaked my 2006 A8L. Panther Black Pearl on my current 2015 A8 looks more black than Phantom---And Panther changes its appearance multiple times with varying backgrounds and sun conditions, but is still more black than Phantom IMO.
Excellent description. I have Phantom Black on my 2011.

It's from the Audi / Lambo dealer. He parked like that and had both doors open so you could sit in the car.... cheap at $229k... tempting!

I picked up some lowering links from Germany. Hope to have them on the car by the weekend.
I just need to close the gap between the tire and the wheel well.

You know you can lower it via VCDS, right?

I do know that. I did links on my last car, S65. I heard my local Audi dealer gives owners a hard time if you mess with anything via VCDS. I'm going to talk to some of the locals in our Audi club. One of the members is a tech. There are two Audi dealers in Las Vegas but for non warranty work there are some quality performance shops in town. One of them just installed a 4 wheel dyno....

I still want to use VCDS to customize things, including window control via the remote.

FWIW to me links are sort of now a corner case/unusual on D bodies. The lowering technique was pioneered on D3 a few years after it came out--via a groundbreaking post from "Dr. Aronis." It has since become well understood and spread to other Audi platforms with the air ride set up. Within a year of so after it got popularized for D3, basically end of 99% of D3 posts on links-- most everything since (going on 10 years now) has been on the VCDS lowering. Did it it on D3 early on, an likewise already tweaked D4 a bit. You can basically dial it in (within reason) as you prefer. Down 1-17mm IIRC, and actually can go up for that matter.
