When I open my driver door in my 2015 S8, I hear a noise coming from just behind the seats, in the general fuel tank area. I think it is the fuel pump priming?

What is that?

Mine did make several noises when the door was opened. I never could identify all of them, I just figured it was the car waking up.

Are you sure your R2 unit isn't deboarding?

On a D4 air suspension pump is back there in center directly underneath. On door open it wakes up and trims out car as long as battery power reading is normal.

That's gotta be it!! LOL

Hmm, I wonder if that's it. I will check to see if I can see the car retrimming. However, it ONLY happens when the driver's door opens.
