Hello all,
I'm going to get a used D4, I just realized the LED lighting on Jakematic's A8 is not on every car or majority of the cars on the net. Is it an option or only exists in newer years? It doesn't look like it has an HID normal round head lamp?
-Is side assist = technology package?
-Is Auto stop and start = technology package or just separate ACC?
-Massage seats is an option or belongs to a package?
-Kick the trunk to open = package or single option?
-Heated seats front and rear = standard or options?

PS: I think I just missed one 2012 27k miles all of those above options for $46k... Sold so fast.

Welcome. Based on my recollection of 2011 thru 2014 MY:

LED Headlights, an option or only exists in newer years? It doesn't look like it has an HID normal round head lamp?
LED headlamps were a stand alone option; bi-xenon HID headlights were standard.

-Is side assist = technology package?
-Is Auto stop and start = technology package or just separate ACC?
Both of the above were included in the Driver Assist package, with Auto Stop & Go part of ACC.

-Massage seats is an option or belongs to a package?
Comes with the Premium package 22-way Comfort Seats.

-Kick the trunk to open = package or single option?
Foot movement trunk activation is standard beginning with 2012MY.

-Heated seats front and rear = standard or options?
Heated front seats were standard IIRC. Heated rear seats part of Cold Weather package.

Thanks so much for the info. I do like the foot movement for trunk lid.

So, if the car doesn't come with massage, it didn't have Premium package? What about the Ventilated seats? Do they come with premium package too?

Louis- Massage & Ventilated front seats come with the Premium package Comfort Seats.
