Has anyone experienced a slight buzzy rattle coming from the dashboard? Mine seems to be coming from the area around the MMi screen. I've tried to open and close the screen as someone suggested but to no avail. Any ideas? It's not loud but noticeable enough to be irritating.

I had a rattle in my A8 and it was simply coming from the rearview mirror plastic housing. It started after I had my front windshield replaced for the second time in less than a year! Just a thought for you.

Noticed something similar today. Turned out to be the speaker grille atop the dash. If I pressed down in the area where it meets the upper tier of the dash (the part that has the defrost outlet) it went silent. Oddly, it did it only after sitting in the sun. Once the interior cooled, it wouldn't rattle. Time to try the felt tape.

I noticed the same buzzing sound as well. I deduced that it was coming from the glove box, since when I press against the glove box the buzzing goes away. I found that there's an air vent in the glove box and thought perhaps it was causing paper or the manuals to create the buzzing sounds....but it still persists even when I remove everything from the glove box. I took the car to the dealership but of course the tech's couldn't get the sound to replicate.

Got another appt this Friday to address the rear sun shade not operating so maybe I'll bring it up again. Only solution I've found is just turn up the music!!
