Service Intervals: Time or Mileage?

Service Intervals: Time or Mileage?
I purchased a 2013 S8 CPO in December with 13K miles on it, which came off lease from the dealership I purchased it from. I just got a service due notice on my info screen. When I called the dealership, they said that although I only had 20K miles on it now, I was due for the 35K major service since it was 48 months from original purchase. Many questions:
Does that make sense to everyone? If so, does it make sense to do this work? (not much of the 35K service looks to be time influenced)
If this is true, should I expect that the car to have already had its 25K service when I purchased it?
I'm assuming that the original Audicare has terminated, correct?
Thanks for any info/help anyone can provide.

Audicare stays with the car. So if it had it originally you still have it. You can do an online chat with Audi and give them the VIN to verify if the car has Audicare or not. Also you should have received a carfax with your purchase(it's part of CPO). It should list all the services performed (mine did). If all else fails call the dealer and ask what services the car has had.
