I am really torn..I drove the old girl into the office today - perfect weather, sunny, no humidity, opened her up, oh man oh man....
Plus...I would miss doing track days on my trusty old car:

Turning my daily driver 996 into an occasional car - picked up a 2013 S8.
Initial impression is that the S8 is a large fast car but I really wish there was more of an exhaust growl - even if there was an after market option
Also getting used to the handling coming from a 911.
Would you guys sell the 911 or keep it (I've had it for over 10 yrs)

You guys will probably shoot me, but I gave up a 2007 GT3 for my '13 S8. Long story behind that, but both cars tick different boxes in terms of performance. Yes, I miss the '3, but the S8 is just such a stellar performer that it lessens the sting of not having that '3 around!

They are addictive, so be prepared. My 1985 911 has been in the shop over the weekend for some AC work, and I'm starting to experience withdrawal. And I even have a spare 911.

Nice car. I went from R8 5.2 to M5 to A8L TDI. Too many speeding tickets, lol. I've had the A8 for 2+ years and starting to get the itch for a new car. The S8 is a mean machine. Enjoy
