Sold my A8 today
Today I watched as someone else drove my baby off. Not a great feeling, but for those who saw my prior thread understand why I should let it go. The gentleman who bought the car is very polite, and I think will appreciate the car and the care that has been given to it, and keep it nice. I look forward to the time when all the chips have settled, and I can get back in the market for a D4 S8 in hopefully 18 months-2 years, if everything goes according to plan. I will still hover around here to live vicariously through you guys and to provide assistance to others where I can. Now begins the process of trying to find a reasonable lower cost replacement. Wish me luck.

Hey Jack,
While it's sad that you sold your A8, I'm happy for you that things are going in the direction you've planned for yourself. Also good that you'll hang out with us from time to time. Looking forward to your return to Audi down the road in an S8 Plus!
Now let's see what car you get next 👍

Jackk88 you've been a wealth of info on this forum and fun to chat with. Best of luck in your future endeavors and keep trolling the site! I still troll and post on the BMW site from time to time, it's just fun to keep in touch.

I know the feeling, a 'limbo' effect on the psychic when there is no Audi to drive; it also happens when on business or vacation trips
*but the plan and expectations can be a motivator!

I'm a fan of long term goals. It's the short term giving me trouble at the moment. It seems like the price of everything I've been looking at has been inflated, it's making it a bit difficult to find something I'd like. I may have to drive the Dodge for a bit yet, we'll see if I have any luck.

Hi folks, I have been in limbo for nearly two years. I traded my 2007 D3 in July of 2014 on a new Suburban LTZ (great vehicle...my 3rd) and bought a 1998 BMW M3 convertible (my 2nd) which I thought would fill the terrible void left in my life. I still have both but Tuesday night I bought a 2011 D4 (A8L) Black/Charcoal and I am waiting for the dealer to put new tires on the car, repair the rims and do some minor body work before I can pick it up. My life has not been the same without a big Audi in my garage and under my butt and I'm crawling out of my skin with anticipation waiting to pick the car up.

Horror: Nov 2014 I was without at least one Audi for 4 hours- sold the D3 in north Jersey and got a ride to eastern Pennsylvania (Wyoming Valley) to pick up a sweet D4!
