Also, if you hand wash yourself, my mechanic swears by Sonax brand stuff. Used it to clean my calipers when I got the wheels yesterday and works really well.

I hand wash at home also unless it's winter. During the winter I go to one of those self-serve car washes that has a pressure washer.

The thing that is nice regarding car washes up here in the winter is that they have those under body pressure washers that clean off the salt/grime from the roads. I go once/week in the winter for that reason alone.
