I've got to say I'm pretty dang happy with this car, have not had a single issue with it (knock on wood), minus me hitting a box that fell out of a truck while driving behind it on the freeway. Thankfully it was a box full of new cardboard coffee cups so it wasn't as bad as the explosion in front of me seemed.
This car drives like a dream, I can get 26mph easy on the freeway, ULTRA comfortable.... so far really loving her. It's at TAG motorsports getting fixed...figured I might as well get some new shoes while I'm at it and the Hoffel front end.

Hi all,
Trading in my 2008 BMW 750 Li with 46000 miles for a 2011 A8 with 41000 miles. Taking delivery tomorrow.
I must say that the acceleration is not on par with the 750Li. But I like the A8 interior much better.
I am hopeful that I will enjoy the A8.
Later,
Anthony

Just from looking at info that edmunds has, it looks like the A8l weighs slightly less that the 750li, has a little more hp and is slightly quicker in 0-60. The BMW has more torque and a turbo charged engine that I imagine would be quicker at altitude, but on paper, at least, the A8 appears quicker.

Wow, sorry to see your A8 got damaged, but getting that beautiful Hofele front end on it might almost make the pain worthwhile! :-) When its on can you post some photos of what the car looks like with that mod? I'd love to see them. Also, how do you like the Nougat Brown interior? I really like the looks of it in pictures but have never seen one in person and wondered how that color ages and wears compared to the black interiors I've always had?

WE already have 70k miles on our 2012 white audi a8L and its a dream without any technical problems. Our 2006 Audi A8L was a bank vault and lasted up to 170k miles before it was totaled.
