What manuals came with an S8?
About a month ago I purchased a CPO 2013 S8 from a dealer a few hundred miles away. The previous owner did not leave the manuals and the dealer ordered them for me including the leather case. The manuals were on back order so I just received them in the mail on Friday. The only manual that I received was the general A8/S8 book. I thought there was also a separate book for the MMI. Can anyone advise what the complete set of manuals should include?
Thanks

Let me google that for you
They tend to be pricey, but seriously check Ebay and some other sources, as well as the Audi dealer.

Manuals & CPO
Steve, now you have the list of manuals. The only really important one is the MMI, as already mentioned. But, you also want the maintenance book to keep track of things. Not so good you don't have the original now with the various underlying service entries, but you can re create one.
You may already know CPO is supposed to include a full set of manuals. I went thru the same thing on mine; original owner took them to Europe when he got transferred back. Unless they changed CPO, dealer owes you the full set. Dealer for me a new set.
Also get the dealer to run the full maintenance history on the car. Mine did that for me right when I picked it up.
BTW, CPO also says you are supposed to get a full set of keys, or at least used to. Did you get the full set: two remotes, one valet, one plastic wallet type? If not, look at CPO checklist and terms and try to get those too. Again, mine were missing all the keys but one, ands so dealer ordered them all up and programmed them to car.

Thanks MP4.2. Received the MMI and general operating manual from the dealer, but no maintenance book. Also received 2 programmed keys, but not valet to wallet key. Don't understand why previous owners would not leave all of these with car when they sell.
