From the Audi dealer, $14.92 w/ tax (3/02). Must be common problem because it was in stock.

Did you have to take steering wheel off to install it?

No, just remove the two screws from the lower trim piece and remove.

Default Re: dash bulb specs

Bulbs for Odometer and dials have been changed in 10 minutes, what about the OAT, can anyone tell me which bulb lights that?

Default All dash lights have gone out in my 100

So one night, I'm leaving work and I go to flip on the headlights/dash lights and the dash lights don't come on. It was not a slow progression, just all at once. I've checked fuses and wires/connections I could get at without taking the cluster out to no avail, so does anyone know of any problem hot spots that I could check first? And to be truthful I have limited electrical skills beyond reading wiring diagrams, and fixing simple problems. Any help would be much appreciated.

Were you have trouble with other electrical accessories, e.g. A/C, radio, headlights, etc., when you turned the ignition on? If so, it could be the ignition switch, which is a common failure. Check the C4 FAQs for fixing this problem.

It seems I have 2 bulbs out- the fuel gauge and right side of speedo are dark and the PRND indicator also. Which bulbs do I need to order? I assume there are no LEDs compatible.
