egr solenoid
1998 avant 2.8 2valve,engine chugs at idle after accelerating,
removed brown line from egr valve,installed vac gauge,have vac. on accel. but holds vac when back to idle.cleaned out port in intake,egr operates fine with vac. pump.tried 2 seperate(used)
egr solenoid valves,found small plastic in line fitting at rubber
elbow at egr (tan) so;enoid,cleaned out & same thing.ckd repair
manuals & have powers needed at tan & black solenoids under mass
air sensor.

not a idle issue,with egr line unhooked at valve & blocked off,runs & idles great,when connected,after accel. then to idle,chugs,disconnect line at egr & idles great,you can hear egr valve pop when pulling off line
